REGISTRATION PAYMENTS

Langton Minor Hockey would like thank everyone who participated in our early registration back in May, it was a great success!

Sheri Coulombe (LAMHA Registrar) will be at the Arena on Tuesday Sept 6th from 6pm-8pm for anyone who still owes the remainder of the registration. Our organization needs to get all payments taken care of before tryouts begin for insurance purposes, or your child cannot participate on the ice.

Erie Shores Wind Farm

Erie Shores Wind Farm consists of 661 General Electric SLE1.5 wind turbines/generators located along the north shore of Lake Erie between Copenhagen and Clear Creek, Ontario. The electrical energy generated by the wind turbines is collected and delivered by 34.5 kV lines, which ultimately deliver the power to the Port Burwell substation. At the substation, the voltage is increased to 115 kV for delivery to Ontario’s transmission grid. All electricity generated by Erie Shores is sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement. Erie Shores is one of the largest wind power facilities in Ontario, representing approximately 4.8% of Ontario’s installed wind power capacity.
