UPDATED 2015-16 Tryout Schedule

Due to an office error at Norfolk County our schedule has been updated once more.

Please note all LMHA tryouts will be held at the Delhi Community Area due to the fact our ice will not be going in until after the Langton Fair this year.

Erie Shores Wind Farm

Erie Shores Wind Farm consists of 661 General Electric SLE1.5 wind turbines/generators located along the north shore of Lake Erie between Copenhagen and Clear Creek, Ontario. The electrical energy generated by the wind turbines is collected and delivered by 34.5 kV lines, which ultimately deliver the power to the Port Burwell substation. At the substation, the voltage is increased to 115 kV for delivery to Ontario’s transmission grid. All electricity generated by Erie Shores is sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement. Erie Shores is one of the largest wind power facilities in Ontario, representing approximately 4.8% of Ontario’s installed wind power capacity.
