Greetings Leafs!

Schedule for this Saturday is posted (calendar is located at bottom of page)

We have an executive meeting this week to review the numbers of registered players in each age category and get the regular season ice slots figured out.

THANKYOU to those members who have expressed interest with helping out on the ice and coaching. We can't run our teams/season without coaches. The younger groups especially need helpers on the ice.

Erie Shores Wind Farm

Erie Shores Wind Farm consists of 661 General Electric SLE1.5 wind turbines/generators located along the north shore of Lake Erie between Copenhagen and Clear Creek, Ontario. The electrical energy generated by the wind turbines is collected and delivered by 34.5 kV lines, which ultimately deliver the power to the Port Burwell substation. At the substation, the voltage is increased to 115 kV for delivery to Ontario’s transmission grid. All electricity generated by Erie Shores is sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement. Erie Shores is one of the largest wind power facilities in Ontario, representing approximately 4.8% of Ontario’s installed wind power capacity.
