Langton Lions Novice Rep Move on to OMHA Semifinals
The Langton Leafs Novice Rep team took on a tough Six Nations Blackhawks team in the quarter finals of the OMHA championship. In game one of the series the Leafs fought hard to take a 3-2 victory at home. They travelled to Six Nations for game two and pounced on the Blackhawks for a 4-0 win to take a 2-0 series lead. On Saturday back at the old Langton Barn the Leafs proved to be too strong with a 3-1 victory and swept the series 3-0 to move on to the Semifinals of the OMHA championship. Everyone keep an eye on the website schedule for the Semifinals Games to be posted and come out to support the Novices as they try to move onto an OMHA Finals! Go Leafs Go!

Erie Shores Wind Farm
Erie Shores Wind Farm consists of 661 General Electric SLE1.5 wind turbines/generators located along the north shore of Lake Erie between Copenhagen and Clear Creek, Ontario. The electrical energy generated by the wind turbines is collected and delivered by 34.5 kV lines, which ultimately deliver the power to the Port Burwell substation. At the substation, the voltage is increased to 115 kV for delivery to Ontario’s transmission grid. All electricity generated by Erie Shores is sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement. Erie Shores is one of the largest wind power facilities in Ontario, representing approximately 4.8% of Ontario’s installed wind power capacity.
