Atom Rep Keep Rolling to Semi Finals

The Langton Leafs - Longs Lumber Atom Rep team keep finding a way to make their mark in the OMHA playoffs with hard work. Good control in their own end, aggressive corner work and constant pressure in the offensive zone makes this group hard to beat.

Advancing to the quarter finals vs Plattsville, they kept their momentum going and swept the series with 6-1, 3-1 and 3-2 victories against a tough opponent.
They can now enjoy a lighter schedule as they wait for their next opponent from the Shamrock league to start the semi final round.

Erie Shores Wind Farm

Erie Shores Wind Farm consists of 661 General Electric SLE1.5 wind turbines/generators located along the north shore of Lake Erie between Copenhagen and Clear Creek, Ontario. The electrical energy generated by the wind turbines is collected and delivered by 34.5 kV lines, which ultimately deliver the power to the Port Burwell substation. At the substation, the voltage is increased to 115 kV for delivery to Ontario’s transmission grid. All electricity generated by Erie Shores is sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement. Erie Shores is one of the largest wind power facilities in Ontario, representing approximately 4.8% of Ontario’s installed wind power capacity.
