Atom Rep Advance to 1/4 Finals
The Langton Leafs - Longs Lumber Atom Rep team advanced to the OMHA quarter finals Thursday night with a strong performance, beating out rivals Norwich Knighthawks. 
After losing the series opener 5-4 in overtime on home ice, the atoms bounced back with a 3-1 win in Norwich and followed that up with a 6-2 win on home ice. The Leafs traveled back to Norwich on Thursday Feb 5th, with an opportunity to close out the series and made no mistake in doing so. They dominated the Norwich team on their way to a 8-1 victory and a birth into the next round vs Plattsville Rage.

Erie Shores Wind Farm
Erie Shores Wind Farm consists of 661 General Electric SLE1.5 wind turbines/generators located along the north shore of Lake Erie between Copenhagen and Clear Creek, Ontario. The electrical energy generated by the wind turbines is collected and delivered by 34.5 kV lines, which ultimately deliver the power to the Port Burwell substation. At the substation, the voltage is increased to 115 kV for delivery to Ontario’s transmission grid. All electricity generated by Erie Shores is sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement. Erie Shores is one of the largest wind power facilities in Ontario, representing approximately 4.8% of Ontario’s installed wind power capacity.
